Most people come in knowing what they like but not what to ask for. We help with both. You'll compare a handful of stones side by side, we'll explain what actually makes one better than another, and then we design the ring around the one you choose.
II. Stone Selection
Start with the stone
Every stone we show you is picked by Milton or Daniel Krasner, both GIA Graduate Gemologists. You see them in person, under proper light and magnification, before you decide anything. Can't make it to La Jolla? We also offer virtual appointments.

Most of our clients come back for their bands. We make them to sit flush against the engagement ring, matched in metal and proportion, so the set looks intentional. We make men's bands too.
IV. Before Your Appointment

How long does a custom ring take? Depending on the complexity, 4 to 6 weeks. Rush jobs are available as well.
Can I use my own stone? Yes. We check it first, then design a setting that suits and protects it.
What should I bring? Any photos you've saved, a rough budget and a ring size if you know it.
